Flute Lessons

We offer Flute tuition in classical and contemporary genres.

We have flute lessons for beginners which will give you a basic understanding of Music notation, Embouchure and Rhythm.

We know some of you aren't interested in theory and just "want to play" , though we endeavour to get you playing a tune as soon as possible, without these skills the student is unlikely to progress.

Our Lessons are not only playing whatÕs written in front of you like a robot. We put a great focus on nurturing a studentÕs natural ability and individuality, as well as providing them with the tools for independent learning.
We will discuss the aspirations of the student and then tailor a plan based on their ability to realise their desires.

If the student is planning to sit Graded exams we can work towards them together.

As far as practice goes Òyou only get out what you put inÓ so thereÕs no avoiding it if you want to achieve. DonÕt worry about it as we will formulate a balanced practice plan combining what you need and what you want. With consideration of your present time commitments.
